We flew/drove to North Carolina last month to visit Alex's family. We were flying standby with his parents, which I would not recommend. With fewer flights, standby is a pain. It took us a full 24 hours for us to get from Raleigh, NC to Tucson, AZ. We took quite a few detours along the way. It was a worthwhile trip, nonetheless. I can now say that I've been to Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMw5A5IMioAI26W6lnrbF9-vl_ih2qK4c5MNqWxFTzQx2_xDqw93JRULewEZFUltauRkCUQjIZH3CYurQjXoO8nZJGERm8cyiMgNjAZNJPts5T69RXuqlvehFooeuu-7wy9yJk3tdwdjE/s320/IMG_0309.JPG)

I also dipped my feet in the Atlantic Ocean! I would have loved to stay longer...
took pictures of the Raleigh temple.
Now that it's almost 2:30 am, I think I'll go home and go to sleep...
